Consulting & facilitation
Curiosity-driven engagement strategy and processes that produce outcomes your team owns and can build on.
Strategic Engagement for Healthcare Leaders
Through strategic facilitation and stakeholder engagement, I help healthcare and public health leaders make better decisions — ones informed and shaped by the people you need to support them.
But it's distributed across your organization and beyond.
I'm an engagement strategist who speaks everyone's language, from executives to engineers to community members. I bridge worlds, surface what they collectively know (and what they don't), and shape it into something none of them could have built alone.
How I Work
Curiosity-driven engagement strategy and processes that produce outcomes your team owns and can build on.
Interactive sessions that reframe constraints as the conditions for creativity, not the limits on it.
Team and leader programs that build capacity to ask better questions, uncover deeper insights, and navigate complex conversations.
Contact
If you're leading a complex initiative and struggle to get the right people to the table — and actually hear each other — let's chat to see how I might help. I may bring other experts as co-collaborators or, if your project better suits their expertise, make an introduction.
Proof
Experience includes stakeholder engagement for federal health agencies, schools of public health, academic institutions, and small and large businesses across healthcare — including pharma, startups, and nonprofits.
I can't underscore enough how valuable Cathy's engineering background is when it comes to building trust. It's not every day that you find a person very skilled at relationship management who also takes a lot of time in ensuring all the facts and details are right.
Cathy's expertise was instrumental to the success of our project. She created conditions for participants to feel heard, surfacing insights that she then synthesized to inform strategic planning. She consistently delivered work of exceptional quality, balancing big-picture thinking with careful attention to detail.
The workshop was intentional and effective. Cathy is a great moderator and clearly understands both the body and the mind.
About
I believe any idea is only as good as your ability to communicate it. I have always been drawn to healthcare technologists and those with brilliant ideas who struggle to bring others along.
My path has not been linear. I studied engineering at MIT, learning to tackle any problem by thinking precisely and systematically. I then pursued theatre in New York City, learning to be present and authentic.
Maybe these pursuits sound unrelated, but to me they're not. The combination is the essence of my work. My engineering brain builds processes with the rigor to produce real results. My performance background helps me hear what's unsaid. And a deep, genuine curiosity — asking before acting, staying open when things shift — means I don't come in with the answer. I am there to help you find it.
Across pharma, startups, and federal health agencies, I've found a sweet spot as the bridge between the idea and the people it needs to bring it to life. I see the space between, ask the right questions, and am comfortable with the discomfort that comes with discerning next steps.
No matter the level, no matter the silos, I believe that the answer lies in your people. My blend of technical fluency and human insight helps people feel comfortable, envision the future, and work together to create it.
Let me do the work so your people are heard and your initiative succeeds.
